Setting up your client software to send and receive mMO SPAM filter mail
- This step will allow you to access your myMailOasis (mMO SPAM filter) eMail account from your desktop eMail program, eliminating the need to log onto the mMO SPAM filter web site. Though we encourage you to logon as often as you would like. No Limit!
- For the purpose of this tutorial, we will use Microsoft's
Outlook Express. If you would like a free copy of Outlook Express, visit Microsoft's web site microsoft.com/windows/oe.
- You should be able to duplicate the results with other eMail client programs. Basically what you want to do is duplicate your current eMail account settings with a second account and then modify it with your new mMO SPAM filter account information and a new name.

- select the "Mail" tab (across the top)
- select your current eMail account
- modify the account name slightly. Place an extra space, comma or hyphen in the name. We will restore it in a few seconds.
- "Export" and save the account settings to a folder or to your desktop. We will retrieve it shortly.
- restore the account name to its original name. Remove the space, comma or hyphen.
- now import the saved copy from your desktop.
- on the imported copy of your account profile, double click on the "General" tab, change the user name, title and the eMail address to match your mMO SPAM filter account.
- select "OK".
You should now have two accounts showing. The two accounts are the same except for their title and the outgoing eMail address.
DONE ! !
You now have a comprehensive SPAM intervention solution. Any eMail sent to your mMO SPAM filter account will be redirected to your desktop. Use your mMO SPAM filter account whenever you're not sure of the party you are exposing your eMail address to. Safely apply for information, software, games, etc. and your Primary-Private-Protected eMail address stays protected.
